PearTune MSO 3.0 Still On for Shimano Di2
This is the PearTune MSO 3.0 in the Still On version – this means that with this variant, the tuning is always active as soon as you turn on the e-bike. This version is intended for Shimano e-bikes without a light button or light function.
If your Shimano e-bike has the light function, please select the PearTune MSO 3.0 Normal – with this version, the tuning can be switched on and off at any time using the light button.
The PearTune MSO 3.0 Tuning Tool removes the preset 25 km/h speed limit of e-bikes with Shimano drive and electronic Di2 gears. This means driving pleasure without limits - for this reason, "MSO" stands for nothing more than "Max Speed Off"!
Please note: When tuning is switched on, the e-bike display will only show the real speed up to about 22-25 km/h. At higher values, the speed indicator is "frozen" so that the same value is always displayed. The total kilometers are also no longer displayed correctly.
Our tip: Simply use GPS-enabled additional devices such as your smartphone to display the correct pace and the real route on the go. You can find practical mounts for the handlebars in our shop.
Installation
The PearTune MSO 3.0 is a microcontroller-based module that must be connected to the motor (between the magnetic speed sensor and the motor). To do this, the engine cover must be removed for a short time. The connection to the motor is made by means of original connectors.
After installation, the module configures itself automatically, you don't need to do anything else. After installing the module, the tuning switches on automatically as soon as you switch on the e-bike, and cannot be switched off (= speed limit permanently lifted). Note: The red cable leading out of the module has no function in this "Still On" version and can be ignored.
You can remove the PearTune module at any time if you want to restore the e-bike to its original condition. No traces are left on the e-bike.
