If the light function of your Shimano drivetrain is free, please select the "NORMAL" version ("click DISPLAY") when ordering. You then have the option to turn the tuning on and off at any time via the light function.
If the light function of your Shimano drivetrain is NOT activated, please select the "STILL ON" version. In this case, the tuning remains permanently active as soon as you have switched on the e-bike.
The most sophisticated version of this popular tuning module to date, now also compatible with the very latest Shimano drivetrains and updates (version 4.1.11). Once installed, the PearTune 3.0 MSO completely removes the 25 km/h speed limit, allowing your Shimano motor to finally reach its full potential. You'll see: Without a speed limit, riding an e-bike is twice as much fun!
This tuning module has the advantage that it is easy to install. After switching on the e-bike, the tuning is always automatically ON. After that, the tuning can be deactivated or reactivated at any time by pressing the light button or via the light function in the menu ("Light off - Tuning on, light on - Tuning off"). If your e-bike does not have a light button (or the light function has not been activated), the tuning will always remain active when the bike is switched on.
Important note: When tuning is switched on, the e-bike display will only show the real speed up to about 22-25 km/h. At higher values, the speed indicator is "frozen" so that the same value is always displayed. The total kilometers are also no longer displayed correctly.
PearTune MSO 3.0 for Shimano – The advantages at a glance
25 km/h speed limit is completely abolished ("MSO" stands for "Max Speed Off").
Easy installation: The PearTune module simply has to be connected between the magnetic speed sensor and the motor ("plug and play"). After installation, the module configures itself, you don't need to do anything else. If you have a Shimano e-bike with the light function activated and want to use the option of tuning on and off via the light function, you must also connect the red cable to the "+" port. If you have a Shimano e-bike drive without an activated light function, you can ignore the red cable, as the tuning is automatically activated after switching on the bike (and cannot be deactivated anyway).
The power supply is provided via the light connection of the e-bike; you don't need a separate battery.
